Jordan is a coach, consultant, facilitator, speaker (and recovered lawyer) with extensive experience in the film, television, legal and professional development sectors. A married father of two, he is driven by a passion for creativity and helping others in their journeys toward more fulfilling careers and lives.
Merging his interests in the arts and his legal education, Jordan’s professional career began with an extensive phase as a lawyer serving producers, financiers and creators in Canada’s booming film and television industries. Jordan’s legal career included co-founding and leading one of Canada’s premiere boutique entertainment law firms, as well as working with numerous Canadian and international producers, helping to successfully finance and produce various feature film, television and other media projects.
Seeking a more direct impact on individuals' lives and a more fulfilling personal and family life, and driven by a desire to help others achieve their full potential and navigate challenging career transitions, in 2021 Jordan transitioned out of law to coaching and consulting. With an approach rooted in Integral Coaching, holistic personal development, storytelling and somatics, Jordan now has the privilege of working with mid-career to senior professionals in a more human-focused way - supporting individuals and teams to exploring new opportunities, take risks and better understand purpose, potential and the possibility for action to change one’s story.
Jordan is also a co-founder of the Open Roof Festival, Toronto’s original and longest running outdoor film and music festival. Jordan has also volunteered with numerous community organizations. He serves on the board of directors of Remedy Institute, a charitable organization focused on research in alternative medical treatments for mental health disorders, and is involved with a number of other arts organizations in Toronto.
